Meet the Director

Jon Hester founded Project Optimus out of a desire to see churches and nonprofits become excellent in matters of business and administrative practice.  He has over 15 years of experience in church and nonprofit leadership, to include roles as lead pastor/church planter, executive pastor, and business executive.  Jon received a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University in Church Ministries and a master’s degree from Florida State University in Social Policy & Administration.

Jon currently resides in northern Atlanta suburbia with his wife Gina and two daughters, Madison and Laura Leigh.
